Beliheg: Postponing the press conference on the impact of imposing a fee on the foreign exchange rate.

Tripoli, April 1, 2024 (Lana) Spokesperson of the House of Representatives (HoR), Abdullah Beliheg, announced today that the committee charged with studying the impact of imposing a fee on the foreign exchange rate has postponed its press conference and is still continuing to hold its meetings.

Beliheg added in a press statement that the committee held its fourth meeting on Sunday at the headquarters of the HoR in Benghazi, in the presence of the Committee Chairman, Second Deputy Speaker of the HoR, Mesbah Douma, the Committee Member, Chairman of the Economy, Trade and Investment Committee, Badr Al-Naheeb.

The meeting was attended by the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, his deputy, Marai Al-Barasi, and the Director of the Studies and Research Department at the bank.

In his statement, Beliheg did not mention any other details about what happened during the meeting.
