Minister of Culture meets with the Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism.

Tripoli, April 27, 2024 (Lana): Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Mabrouka Tughi, discussed yesterday with Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersu, cooperation in cultural areas, opportunities for strengthening cultural exchange between Libya and Turkey, and ways to support and develop them.

This came during their meeting on the sidelines of signing a memorandum of understanding between the two countries at the Ataturk Cultural Center in Istanbul, according to the official page of the Ministry of Culture.

The meeting was attended by the Acting Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries, Nasr al-Din al-Fazzani, the Libyan Ambassador to Turkey, Mustafa al-Qalib, the Consul General of Libya in Istanbul, Salah al-Din al-Kaseh, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Hanan al-Hassi, the Director of the Ministry’s International Cultural Cooperation Office, Khalifa al-Hamidi, the representative of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Al-Zanati, and a number of advisors to the Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism.
