Tripoli, April 27, 2024 (Lana): The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Fawzi Al-Nuwairi, participated in the opening session of the 5th conference of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, which launched yesterday in Istanbul under the title  “Freedom and Independence for Palestine.”.

The session opened with a remark by the Head of the League, Sheikh Hamid Abdullah Al-Ahmar, followed by a speech by the Head of the League in Turkey, Noureddine Nakhati, as well as speeches by the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, Numan Kurtulmuş, and the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The conference, in which more than 600 parliamentarians from 75 countries participate and lasts for three days, includes a group of solidarity activities with Palestine.
