Ambassador Norland meets a group of Libyan youth

Tripoli, April 29, 2024 (LANA) - The American special envoy to Libya, Ambassador Richard Norland, met on Sunday evening with a group of young Libyans from the cities of Misrata, Tarhuna, Bani Walid, Al-Zawiya, and Sahel Al-Jafara.
The embassy wrote on its official Facebook page through Norland: Today in Misrata, it was inspiring to meet young Libyans who are striving to promote peace and reconciliation in their communities.
Norland added: These young men from Misrata, as well as others from Tarhuna, Bani Walid, Al-Zawiya, and Sahel Al-Jafara, participated in an initiative funded by the United States.
He stated that the initiative aims to overcome divisions among Libyans. “We are very impressed by this talented group of young people and what they can offer to the future of Libya.”
