Tripoli, April 23, 2024 (LANA) - During his meeting today, Tuesday, with the Executive Secretary of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States, Ambassador Ado Al-Haji, the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, discussed a number of files related to supporting the group, activating all its components, and completing the necessary arrangements for the group to return to work from Tripoli. .

The media office of the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government stated that Al-Dabaiba praised the efforts made by the group to play its regional role in supporting member states with all issues, stressing the necessity of communication between member states to clarify positions in all fields.

For his part, Al-Hajji praised the efforts made by Libya to restore the pivotal role of the Community of Sahel-Saharan countries in the African and international environment, stressing the completion of logistical arrangements for work from the capital, Tripoli.
