Ageela participates in the 6th conference of Heads of Arab Councils and Parliaments in Cairo.

Cairo, April 28, 2024 (Lana) Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Ageela Saleh, participated yesterday in the 6th Conference of the Heads of Arab Councils and Parliaments under the title “An Arab parliamentary vision for achieving the safe employment of artificial intelligence” at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
According to the spokesman of the HoR, Abdullah Belhaq, members of the Arab Parliament’s HoR, Hassan Barghouti and Ahlam Al-Lafi, and a member of the HoR, Ali Kashir, participated in the conference.
The conference participants discussed a number of issues, including cybersecurity, its importance, and the necessity of the safe employment of artificial intelligence to keep pace with the major change the Arab world is witnessing in the era of globalization and technology.
According to Belhaq, before the conference, a meeting was held between the heads of Arab councils and parliaments and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who welcomed attendees from all Arab countries.
