Tripoli, April 28, 2024 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, issued a decision today, Sunday, to consider next Wednesday an official holiday in all public institutions and facilities on the occasion of Labor Day for the year 2024.

   The decision stated that institutions and facilities with humanitarian and security services should be taken into account, while preserving the right of their workers to receive compensation for today’s work in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of Law No. 12 of 2010.

  The decision added that Thursday is a holiday for all the aforementioned entities, to be deducted from the employee’s annual leave.
