Erdogan and El-Kabeer discuss challenges facing the CBL.

Tripoli, April 28, 2024 (Lana) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received at the presidency’s headquarters in Istanbul yesterday the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Siddiq El-Kabeer.

The two parts discussed the economic, financial, and political situation in Libya and the challenges facing the CBL in performing its tasks in light of the government division, according to the Facebook page of the CBL.

The meeting also discussed the bank’s role in protecting the financial sustainability of the country, in addition to discussing increasing joint cooperation in the banking area between the two countries.
