Perpetrators arrested in two murders in Al-Khoms and Sabratha.

Al-Khoms - Sabratha, April 12, 2024 (LANA) - Yesterday, Thursday, the police officers at the Kaam Police Station, Al-Khoms Security Directorate were able to arrest the perpetrators in the case of killing an expatriate worker, both of whom were of the nationality of an Arab country.

The Ministry of the Interior stated that the arrest operation took place in the presence of members of the criminal investigation and forensic evidence department, as judicial officers at the Kaam Police Station, Al-Khoms Security Directorate began investigating and collecting information in the case of killing an expatriate worker.

It added, that legal measures were taken by writing a report to collect evidence regarding the incident, notifying the Public Prosecution, and seizing the perpetrator to complete the procedures.

  In addition, the Ministry stated that the perpetrator was arrested in a murder using a firearm and killing a young man in his thirties, which occurred yesterday, Thursday, in the vicinity of Sabratha Police Station. Which led to forming a team to investigate and collect information in the Sabratha Security Directorate, and after 3 hours, the perpetrator was arrested.

Saying that, legal measures were taken by communicating with the Public Prosecution, writing a report to collect evidence in the incident, filing the crime case, and seizing the perpetrator to complete the investigation.
