New York, April 24, 2024 (LANA) - The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer, met yesterday, Tuesday, in New York, with a high-level team from the American Bank of New York Mellon.

According to a brief statement on the official page of the Bank of Libya today, Wednesday, during this meeting, which was held at the bank’s headquarters in New York City, they discussed opening cooperation relations, and benefiting from the bank’s experiences in the fields of technology and cybersecurity, and the efforts of the Central Bank of Libya in building capabilities, and updating compliance policies and regulations, and combating money laundering and terrorist financing.
