Opening of the Oncology Department at the Children’s Teaching Hospital in Tripoli.

Tripoli, March 16, 2024 (LANA) - The National Cancer Control Authority announced the opening of the Oncology Department at the Children’s Teaching Hospital in Tripoli, which will contribute to developing ways to care for children with this disease.

Adding that, the department will provide infected children with the necessary medical care of the highest possible quality in a supportive environment, with psychological and social services to help children and their families deal with the disease and its related matters.

According to the authority, the new department includes patient rooms equipped with the latest technologies, an outpatient clinic and laboratory, a specialized pharmacy, and a team of doctors, nurses, and staff with experience in treating pediatric oncology.
