Al-Falah delivers a message from Al-Manfi to the Mauritanian President

Nouakchott, April 25, 2024 (LANA) - Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani received, yesterday Wednesday in Nouakchott, Imad Al-Falah, a special envoy from the President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi.

  The Mauritanian presidency of the African Union stated on its Facebook page that “Al-Falah” said in a press statement after the meeting, “I came carrying a message from the President of the Presidential Council to his brother, His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Sheikh Al-Ghazouani, which includes an emphasis on the depth of historical relations between Mauritania and Libya.”

Al-Falah explained that the message relates to “continuous and close consultation in all areas of interest to the two brotherly countries, including activating the role of the Arab Maghreb Union.”

He added that he received positive responses from the Mauritanian President, stressing the good permanent relations and strengthening joint cooperation in all fields.
