America commends the HNEC’s role in fostering all Libyans participation in the electoral process.

Tripoli, April 24, 2024 (Lana) The U.S. Embassy in Libya commended the role of the High National Election Commission (HNEC) in fostering broad participation and inclusion of all Libyans in the electoral process.
This came in a tweet by the Embassy yesterday after a meeting held at the Commission’s headquarters in Tripoli with a delegation from the U.S. Embassy, USAID, and advisors of UNSMIL.
“USAID Libya Representative Cardenas discussed HNEC's preparations for municipal and national elections and coordination with UNSMIL, UNDP, and other international partners in support of the commission's efforts,” the embassy said.
