LANA: Culture Ministry preparing to hold a meeting of culture ministers at the S/S gathering in Tripoli next June.

  Tripoli, April 20, 2024 (LANA) - The Minister of Culture and Cognitive Development, Mabrouka Toghi, stressed the importance of linking cultural ties between the peoples of the Community of Sahel/Saharan Countries (S/S) and strengthening cultural relations, which are the most important pillars of communication between peoples.

Toghi explained in a statement to the Libyan News Agency today, Saturday, following her meeting with the Executive Secretary of the Community of Sahel and Saharan States, S/S “Ado Al-Hajji Abu,” at the group’s headquarters in Tripoli that she had agreed with, Abu, to prepare to hold a meeting of culture ministers of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States in Tripoli next June.

  Toghi called for setting up a mechanism for the meeting, determining its agenda items, and exploiting its holding days to raise many topics regarding cultural affairs in the countries of the group.
