Tripoli, April 23, 2024 (Lana) The U.S. Embassy in Libya affirmed yesterday that it has implemented professional training for Libyan teachers to expand English language education.

The embassy said in a tweet that Chargé d’Affaires Berndt was pleased to host Amideast President and CEO Ambassador Holtz and her team to discuss partnerships and joint efforts to expand English language education across Libya.

“The U.S. Embassy and Amideast have implemented professional training for Libyan teachers and enabled Libyan youth and professionals to travel to and study in the United States through U.S.-funded exchange programs,” Berndt added.
