The government appointed by Parliament participates in the work of the international forum on the Palestinian issue held in Rome.

Rome, April 21, 2024 (LANA) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the government appointed by Parliament, “Abdul Hadi Al-Hawaij,” participated, along with his accompanying delegation, in the work of the International Forum on the Future of the State of Palestine, held in the Italian capital, Rome, at the invitation of the Italian Opposition Front.

In his speech, Al-Hawaij stressed the firm and firm position of the government appointed by the House of Representatives towards the Palestinian issue and the decision to treat the Palestinians as Libyans, in addition to the historic decision issued by the Libyan Parliament criminalizing dealing with the Zionist entity.

  In his speech, Al-Hawaij highlighted the African-European conference on migration, scheduled to be held in the city of Benghazi under the auspices of the government at the end of next May, calling for the importance of parliamentary and governmental participation, including experts, civil society, and the European and African media to find sustainable solutions to the migration phenomenon.

The work of the International Forum on the Future of the State of Palestine, held in the Italian capital, Rome, witnessed broad participation from political, diplomatic and parliamentary movements, experts and media professionals from more than 20 countries around the world.
