Al-Mishri and British Ambassador discuss Bathily's initiative on organizing elections

Tripoli, March 8, 2023 (LANA) - Head of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, met, Wednesday, Amb. Caroline Hurndall, British Ambassador to Libya, at the HCS headquarters in the capital, Tripoli.
Al-Mishri and the British ambassador discussed the Bathily's initiative regarding the mechanism for organizing elections, which he announced in his briefing to the Security Council last week.
The two sides reviewed the political developments of the country, especially the 13th constitutional amendment that was recently approved by the House of Representatives and the State Council, and the agreements being arranged within the HCS regarding the road map and the electoral law-making committee.
