Cairo, April 22, 2024 (Lana): Chargé d'Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Cairo, Ambassador Mohamed Mesbah, met in his office yesterday with members of the Committee for Support and Development of Therapeutic Services, who were sent to review the conditions of patients in Egypt and to close the financial deposits for 2023 that were transferred to the health office at the Libyan Embassy in Cairo in accordance with financial and technical controls.

The Embassy said on its Facebook page that it discussed the health file of the Libyan patients in Egypt and worked to find solutions for problems and obstacles facing Libyans in Egypt.

Ambassador Mesbah welcomed the committee’s members, commending the efforts made by the health office at the embassy despite some of the difficulties it faces during the current period, especially with the irregular payment to Egyptian hospitals for the costs of treatment for patients, which negatively affected the medical services provided to them.

The ambassador stressed the importance of working to find urgent solutions to the obstacles and problems facing patients in Egypt.
