  Sirte, April 19, 2024 (LANA) - Harvesting operations began today, Friday, in the pivot irrigation circles in the large farms project, at the Manmade River Water Investment Authority, in the central Sirt region.

Head of management committee of the authority, Shuaib bin Sharada, explained to LANA correspondent in Sirt, that the start of the harvesting operations for this year was attended by members of the management committee, and the director of the office of Sirt housing and utilities project implementation agency, Kamal Suleiman.

The implementation of the process for the 19-hectare project is supervised by a number of engineers and technicians from the Agricultural Production and Investment Department of the Manmade River Water Investment Authority, in the Central Region.
