Al-Dabaiba issues a decision to form a committee to activate the system for issuing cards for journalists.

Tripoli 8 March 2023 (Lana) Abdul-Hamid Al-Dabaiba, the Head of the Government of National Unity, issued a decision to form a committee to activate the system for issuing journalist identification cards.

According to the decision's second article, the committee is also responsible for facilitating security measures for journalists' work and activities, as well as coordinating the completion of visa and residence procedures for journalists in Libya.

The first article of the decision issued under No. 106 of 2023, assigned the chairmanship of the committee to the Director of the External Information Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the membership of each of the Director of the Information and Government Communication Department at the Council of Ministers Office and the Director General of the Media Support Fund.

The third article, the decision, set a month for the committee to implement what is required, while the fourth article stressed that this decision should be implemented from the date of its issuance and that the competent authorities should implement it.
