NCDC records 16 positive cases of Corona virus in past 24 hours, without recording any deaths.

Tripoli, 5 December 5, 2022 (Lana) - The National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of 16 positive cases of Corona virus during the past 24 hours, without recording any deaths.

And according to the weekly update of the local epidemiological situation of the Corona virus during the period from 11/28 - 12/4/2022, the center received (152) samples, and after examining the samples using Real Time PCR technology, the results were as follows:

- Negative cases (136) samples.

- Positive cases (16) cases.

- Recovered cases (06).

- Deaths (00) cases.

- The percentage of positive cases (04%).

   And the general statistics for infection with the Corona virus reached “507,100 cases, and the number of active cases reached: 53 cases, and the number of people recovering reached 500,610 cases.”

The number of deaths due to the Corona virus in all parts of Libya totaled 6,437 cases.
