Tripoli 29 November 2022 (Lana) GNU Minister of Economy and Trade Mohammed Al-Haweij participated in works of the Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) in its 38th session, which started yesterday in Istanbul, with the participation of a number of ministers of economy, trade and finance of the member states.and It will last for two days.

According to the SMS Page of the Ministry, the work program for the economic and commercial activities to be organized in area of agriculture and food security and the promotion of trade cooperation between member states was reviewed, in addition to discussing the latest global economic and trade developments, and setting a strategy to implement digital transformation and assisting the member states to implement it.

Al-Haweij stressed that Libya always seeks to participate in the meetings of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and follow up its recommendation and implementation of its decisions within the international and regional framwork, pointing to the importance of intra-trade for member states and working to overcome all difficulties to raise the level of trade exchange.
