  Tripoli, 1 September 2022 (Lana) The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya Al Sidiq Al Kabir discussed with his Maltese counterpart Edward Scicluna prospects of cooperation in the banking fields.

The meeting, which they held yesterday at the headquarters of the Maltese Central Bank, also discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the field of training and development, and ways to exchange expertise between the two parties in the banking and financial fields, as well as follow-up on a number of issues of common interest.

  The Governor of the Central Bank of Malta expressed his thanks to his Libyan counterpart, stressing that his country seeks to strengthen banking relations with Libya, considering that the banking sector represents the main tool to encourage investors.
