Tripoli, 10 Aug. 2022 (Lana) - The President of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mashri, discussed with the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations for Policy and Peace building Affairs, Rose Marie DiCarlo, the political developments in the country.

During the phone call that took place between them, Tuesday, the Head of the Council explained the position of the High Council of State regarding the political crisis in the country, and its vision to get out of it by organizing elections on sound constitutional and legal bases that would renew the country's political legitimacy and end the transitional stages.
