Lana correspondent: vigil in front of Municipal Council of Al-Jafra calling for holding parliamentary and presidential elections, and asserting the unity of Libya.

Tripoli, 19 May 2022 (Lana) A number of residents of the South of both the western and eastern parts, held a vigil on Thursday before the Al-Jafra municipal council, demanding that the will of three million Libyans who registered to vote be respected to hold simultaneous parliamentary and presidential elections before the end of this year as the only solution to the country's current political crisis.
In a statement obtained by the Official News Agency of Libya, the participants stressed the importance of respecting human rights and all regions without excluding or marginalizing them and achieving justice and equality for all.
They announced in their statement that preparations were underway for the convening of the all-inclusive conference for the people of the southwest and east in the coming days under the supervision of national institutions in the region, to include all social and political segments and all those interested in national affairs, stressing that Libya is one and will remain as such and will not divide.
