Al-Manfi attends launch of West Coast Municipalities Forum.

Sorman, 26January, 2022 (Lana) President of the Presidential Council Mohamed Al-Manfi attended the launch of the West Coast Municipalities Forum, held at the Cultural Center in the municipality of Sorman under the slogan of uniting hands for the future.

In a speech he delivered at the forum, which is also attended by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Fawzi Al-Nuiri, the mayors of the West Coast municipalities and representatives of the military, social leaders and civil society institutions, stressed the need for national reconciliation to prevail throughout the country and to be a comprehensive political and security reconciliation simultaneously with a complete rejection of political dispute. The establishment of a state through the organization of free and fair elections and acceptance of their results.

Al-Manfi called for the separation between the executive and legislative powers, considering that their overlapping causes confusion in political life and negatively affected the life of the citizen, stressing the need to go to elections, through which the prestige of the state will be embodied, the preservation of its sovereignty, and the control and security of its borders.

 Al-Manfi also called for building trust between the municipalities, stressing the full and complete cooperation of the Presidential Council with the municipalities and providing factors of success for their work.
