West Coast Municipalities Forum confirms that Libya needs everyone's contribution to heal its wounds.
Pulbished on:Sorman, 26 January, 2022 (Lana) - West Coast Municipalities Forum, which was held, Wednesday, in the municipality of Sorman, under the slogan (Uniting Hands for the Future), affirmed that Libya needs everyone's contribution to heal its wounds and move away from regionalism and work on fusion in the crucible of the homeland.
In the final statement, the forum stressed that the West Coast region would be supportive of building the state and its institutions and maintaining its stability, calling on the state to support security institutions to preserve the prestige of Libya and the dignity of the citizen.
The statement categorically rejected the involvement of the West Coast region in any conflicts or wars, whatever the reasons, stressing that the coastal municipalities will be the protector of Libya and will not make their lands a source of destabilization of national security.
The statement called on all Libyan tribes to unite and heal the rift by bringing about comprehensive reconciliation based on justice.
