Activating the visa system for foreign NGOs to Libya.

  Tripoli, 19 January 2022 (Lana) Cabinet Secretary General Ali Shalak has announced the launch of the entry visa system for NGOs. This came during a meeting held on Wednesday, in the presence of Deputy Head of the Passport Department Major General Al Zarroug Al-Saghir", Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs in the Office of the Prime Minister Al Taher Baour, and representatives of a number of competent security agencies and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Cabinet Secretary-General explained that the activation of this system came after a proposal from the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Office of the Prime Minister, in order to find a way through which visas are granted to foreign organizations in cooperation with the security authorities, to refer the visa applications to the Passport and Nationality Authority for the issuance of the entry visas.

Shalak stressed that the activation of this system will be followed by the activation of a number of electronic systems, which are in the process of being implemented, to provide services to the citizens.
