Tunisian Foreign Minister reiterates his country's rejection of foreign intervention in Libya.

 Tunis, 9 January 2022 (Lana) Tunisian Foreign Minister Osman Al-Jarandi confirmed that Tunisia's only calculations in the Libyan file were about securing Libya's stability and it returns as a politically and economically viable force in the region, away from any foreign interventions and this policy towards the Libyan file was reaffirmed by Tunisian President Qais Saeid).

This was stated in a tweet by Al-Jarandi on his Twitter account, which included: "The Libyan issue has been a top priority of Tunisia's foreign policy, where Tunisia was supporting Libya in the Security Council and other regional and international meetings."

Tunisia was a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council between 2020 and 2021, which ended last December.
