Military Medicine Agency meets with the British military attaché to Libya.

Tripoli, May 8, 2024 (Lana) Assistant Director General of the Military Medicine Agency at the Ministry of Defense, Saif Al-Baroni, discussed with the UK’s military attaché to Libya, Colonel Matthew Ketterer, ways of joint cooperation in the areas of military medicine and confronting disasters, crises, and epidemics.

Colonel Ketterer expressed their readiness to strengthen joint cooperation and agreed on holding a joint workshop during which the needs and aspects of cooperation would be identified to ensure benefiting from British expertise in all areas, especially training.

For his part, Al-Baroni stressed the importance of consolidating relations and strengthening cooperation with the British side, investing in its expertise, and localizing treatment inside the country for wounded in military operations throughout the country.

The meeting was attended by the military affairs advisor, Brigadier General Ahmed Madi, Colonel Faraj Al-Shamam, and Major Elias Halasa, head of the security office.
