Rome, May 02, 2024 (LANA) - The Minister of the Interior in charge of the National Unity Government, Major General, Imad Mustafa Trabelsi, participated today, Thursday, in the Italian capital, Rome, in the international coordination meeting with his counterparts from the Interior Ministers in Italy, Tunisia, and Algeria, and a number of security officials, in order to discuss cooperation on border issues and illegal immigration.
The Ministry of Interior stated that, the meeting aims to unify visions and adopt a comprehensive approach to combat the phenomenon of illegal immigration, taking into account the interests of countries of source, transit and destination, and setting broad lines to combat this phenomenon.
