Tripoli, May 7, 2024 (Lana): Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy, Berndt, discussed yesterday with the Emirati Ambassador to Libya, Mohamed AlShamsi, the latest developments in the situation in Libya.

"Our discussion today focused on the importance of continued strong Emirati and U.S. support for UN mediation efforts and the Libyan political process." Berndt said in a tweet.
