Tripoli, May 8, 2024 (LANA) - The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, discussed with the President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, the mechanism for granting work permits to expatriate workers, with the aim of facilitating procedures and improving the work environment in the country.

During the meeting, which was held at the Council’s headquarters in Tripoli, the two sides reviewed ways to develop and enhance training and qualification of national cadres, and provide appropriate job opportunities in accordance with the changing needs of the labor market, which contributes to strengthening the local economy and achieving social stability.

 The meeting also touched on the Ministry's role in organizing financial releases in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, and ensuring the fair and effective distribution of job cadres to public entities, with the aim of improving the services provided to citizens and enhancing the efficiency of the public sector.
