Electricity Company: A shipment of materials for a number of electrical network development projects arrives.

  Tripoli, May 02, 2024 (LANA) - The General Electricity Company announced today, Thursday, the arrival of a shipment of materials for a number of electrical network development projects through the Misrata sea port, represented by a number of transformers 220 - 30/11 with all its accessories, and the transportation of this shipment will begin  for locations south of Tripoli for direct installation.

In addition, the company stated that maintenance teams in the Western High Voltage Lines Maintenance Department of the General Administration of Energy Transmission carried out maintenance operations on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, in several areas, including replacing insulators, washing, and cleaning energy transmission circuits in (Tripoli, Al-Marqab, Misrata, Al-Zawiya, and Gharyan).

It also indicated that materials, including electrical poles and transformers, were urgently disbursed to the Jdabya Oil Crescent Distribution Department and the Bin Jawad Distribution Department. This comes to provide the special needs of the company’s divisions nationwide to overcome all bottlenecks and address them to ensure the continuity of electrical supply for all citizens.
