  Tripoli, May 02, 2024 (LANA) - The first meeting of the joint committee between the Libyan side and the European Union Support Mission in Integrated Border Management in Libya (EUBAM) was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Tripoli on Tuesday.

   During the meeting, they reviewed the activities carried out by the mission during the past period, and the mission’s plan for the period from May 2024 to June 2025.

  The two parties stressed the importance of the mission’s role in providing technical and strategic advice to the Libyan authorities concerned with border security and management and the necessary technical facilities and consultations in close cooperation with the European Union Mission to Libya.
