Administrative Control Authority suspends the Minister of Oil and Gas from reserve work.

Tripoli, March 26, 2024 (Lana): The Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qadirbuh, issued Decision No. 347  of 2024 regarding the suspension of the Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity from reserve work for reasons and requirements of the investigation.

The Authority confirmed on its Facebook page that the decision was based on what the Director of the General Department of Investigation presented in his memorandum and on the investigation regarding the facts of Case No. 178,, which revealed the presence of legal violations.

The suspension decision comes in accordance with the provisions of Article 31  of Law No. 20  of 2013, establishing the Administrative Control Authority, its amendments, and its executive regulations.
