British Ambassador discusses with Municipality of Benghazi cooperation between businessmen and chambers of commerce in the two countries.

Benghazi March 19, 2024 (Lana): The UK Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden, and his accompanying delegation visited Benghazi yesterday, where he met with the head of the municipality’s management council, Al-Saqr Bojwari, to discuss the joint economic coordination mechanism.

The municipality stated in a statement that joint coordination was discussed regarding the possibility of achieving cooperation in the economic areas by arranging meetings between British and Libyan businessmen and the chambers of commerce, the importance of the economic aspect in creating stability, as well as the impact of the current political situation on municipal work.

Longden stressed the importance of cooperation in economic areas due to its positive results at all levels.
