Doha, April 30, 2024 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, discussed today, Tuesday, regional and international developments with the Qatari Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani.

The media office of the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government stated that the two sides discussed the latest regional developments, especially the situation in Gaza and Sudan, and ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

During the meeting, Al-Dabaiba stressed the importance of relations with the State of Qatar, noting the endeavor to open new horizons for bilateral cooperation, which contributes to achieving development and peace in Libya.

For his part, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman expressed Qatar's firm support for Libya and its readiness to enhance economic and security cooperation to support stability in the region.

The office explained that the meeting comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to enhance dialogue and regional cooperation between the two countries.
