Tripoli, May 5, 2024 (LANA) - The person in charge of running the affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, “Taher Al-Baour,” today, Sunday, at the Ministry’s headquarters, discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Congo Brazzaville, “Jean-Claude Jacosso,” and his accompanying delegation, President Denis Nguesso’s proposal regarding Libya, in his capacity as Chairman of the High-level African Union Committee.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Congo Brazzaville conveyed during the meeting a briefing on the proposal of his country’s President, Denis Sassou Nguesso, in his capacity as Chairman of the African Union High-Level Committee on Libya, for the purpose of preliminary preparation for the launch of the “Great Reconciliation Conference,” which includes all representative segments of the Libyan people. .
