  Benghazi May 05, 2024 (LANA) - The Foreign Minister in the government assigned to Parliament "Abdel Hadi Al Huwaij" and the Minister of State for illegal Immigration Affairs "Fathi Al -Tbawi", chaired series of sub-committees meetings in preparation for the holding of the African-European Conference, on the migration to be held in the city of Benghazi at the end of this month.

The meeting - which included communication committees, regions, and the scientific and political committee, and in the presence of the Chairman and Rapporteur of the National Preparatory Committee for the conference - discussed the process of organizing registration by handing over the communication committee to the final lists of the participants. Also reviewed their reports before the ministers on the latest preparations and participations expected during the upcoming conference.

For their part, "Al -Huwaij" and "Al -Tbawi" stressed the need to accelerate the pace of work, intensify communication and coordination to show the conference in a manner that befits the role of the Libyan state, and its relentless endeavor to reduce the phenomenon of irregular migration and its negative repercussions in Libya, neighboring countries and the countries of the Mediterranean.
