Public Prosecutor’s Office: Freeing a kidnapped child in Zliten, and arresting the kidnapper.

Tripoli, March 10, 2024 (LANA) - The Public Prosecutor’s Office announced the release of a 4-year-old kidnapped child in Zliten and the arrest of the perpetrator who demanded a ransom of (100) thousand dollars.
The office explained in a publication that after the investigating authority received news of the kidnapping of the four-year-old child (D.A.) for the purpose of forcing his family to pay a financial ransom of one hundred thousand dollars, the Information and Communications Affairs Control Section, in the Attorney General’s Office, assumed responsibility for strengthening the procedures, the inferences that led technical support work to identify the perpetrator.
The office indicated that members of the police force, Zliten Criminal Investigation Department, were able to arrest the perpetrator and free the child victim.
