HCS and the UN discuss problems facing Libyan women.

Tripoli, February 13, 2024 (Lana): The Freedoms and Human Rights Committee of the High Council of State (HCS) and the Council’s Relations Office held a meeting yesterday with the representative of the United Nations General Authority for Women’s Affairs in Libya and Tunisia, Isadora Dimora, accompanied by the head of women’s political participation programs, Maram.
According to the communication office of the HCS, the meeting discussed problems facing Libyan women and ways to support them at the local and international levels, in addition to reviewing the most important legislation that guarantees the rights of Libyan women.
