  Banjul, May 04, 2024 (LANA) - Representative in the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, participated in the fifteenth summit of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, which began today, Saturday, in the Gambian capital, Banjul, under the slogan “Promoting unity and solidarity through dialogue for sustainable development.”

According to the Presidential Council, the participants in the summit will discuss the political issues of the Islamic world, most notably the Palestinian issue, and the issues of youth, women, family, science, technology, media, and Muslim communities and groups in non-member countries of the organization.

At this summit, which concludes its work tomorrow, Sunday, leaders of countries will discuss issues related to rejecting hate speech and Islamophobia, promoting dialogue, and issues of climate change and food security.
