Manama, May 16, 2024 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, “Mohamed Al-Mnifi,” met today, Thursday evening, in the Bahraini capital, Manama, with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, “Antonio Guterres,” on the sidelines of the work of the 33rd session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level.

The Council's media office stated that the meeting discussed developments in the political situation and ways to advance the political path in Libya, reactivate the various paths and find consensual solutions to achieve the aspirations of the Libyan people to reach a stage of permanent stability through free, fair and transparent elections in which everyone participates.
