Takala discusses with a Malaysian delegation relations between the two countries and ways to support the Palestinian cause.

Tripoli, May 15, 2024 (LANA) - The President of the High Council of State, Muhammad Takala, accompanied by the Second Representative, Omar Al-Obaidi, and Council Member, Mahmoud Al-Tabib, met today, Wednesday, with the Chairman of the External Development Corporation of the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry in Malaysia, and the representative for the city of Penang, Danu. Sri Reezal Merican bin Nina Merican, and their accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed joint relations between Libya and Malaysia, especially commercial and investment activities and economic and political cooperation relations between the two countries.

The meeting discussed ways to develop and expand these relations to serve the interests of both countries, in addition to concerted efforts to support the Palestinian cause in international forums and coordinating efforts to provide support to the Palestinian people.
