Strengthening cooperation between Libya and Bahrain in the social fields.

Manama, May 16, 2024 (LANA) - The Minister of Social Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Wafaa Al-Kilani, discussed today, Thursday, with the Minister of Social Development in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Osama bin Ahmed Al-Asfour, bilateral cooperation and the exchange of experiences and expertise between the two ministries within the framework of implementing Arab and international decisions related to social protection, as well as cooperation in programs to support people with disabilities.

  During the meeting held - on the sidelines of the “Entrepreneurship towards Empowering Persons with Disabilities and Productive Families” a conference currently held in Manama - the Bahraini Minister stressed the importance of joint cooperation, calling for holding other meetings between the two ministries to enhance cooperation mechanisms and exchange experiences.

In turn, Al-Kilani pointed out the important role that the Arab Family Organization will play under her leadership, stressing that this will be done within the framework of joint Arab cooperation, praising the role of the Kingdom of Bahrain in encouraging family programs.
