Al-Baaour and the Danish Foreign Minister discuss the latest developments in the political situation in Libya.

Tripoli, May 04, 2024  (LANA) - The person in charge of running the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, “Al-Taher Al-Baaour,” discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark, “Lars Lokke Gasmussen,” ways of economic cooperation between the two countries, and inviting Danish companies specialized in the fields of renewable energies to support development projects in the country.

This came during the meeting held between them on the sidelines of the conclusion of the 21st session of foreign ministers of African and Nordic countries, held in Copenhagen.

  During the meeting, the importance of Libyan relations with the Scandinavian countries, including Denmark, was emphasized, according to what was published on the official page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its Facebook account.

During the meeting, the possibility of lifting the ban on Libyan flights in European airspace was also discussed, and the Danish embassy was invited to resume its work from the capital, Tripoli.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting represented an opportunity to exchange views on various regional and international issues and developments in the political situation in Libya.
