Tunisia, May 03, 2024 (LANA) - The Minister of African Affairs of the Libyan government appointed by the House of Representatives, Issa Abdel Majeed, discussed today, Friday, with the American special envoy to Libya, Richard Norland, the latest developments in the south and the United States’ strategy to prevent conflict and promote stability, according to the government on its Facebook page.
According to the government, the American ambassador stressed his country’s commitment to efforts aimed at achieving stability in the region, improving the economy, the importance of protecting Libya’s sovereignty, and supporting the efforts led by the United Nations to unify the country and its institutions.
