Tripoli, May 13, 2024 (LANA) - The Ministry of Health of the government appointed by the House of Representatives announced today, Monday, the opening of a health center at the headquarters of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency in the city of Kufra.
The ministry said in a post on its Facebook page, “The opening of the center, which came in cooperation and coordination with the joint security room to secure the southeast, will be dedicated to dealing with the file of refugees and displaced persons from Sudan and ensuring access to the necessary medical services and vaccinations for them.”
It was explained that the center began immediately after its opening to prepare cards to identify the displaced and issue free health certificates to them after conducting the necessary medical tests for them, in addition to providing preventive vaccinations to the workers at the immigration center and the medical teams that deal with the displaced directly in order to preserve their safety.
