  Tripoli, May 04, 2024 (LANA) - The person in charge of running the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, “Al-Taher Al-Baour,” discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda, “Jin Odingo Jeji Abu Bakhar,” the file of Libyan investments in Uganda and a number of issues of common interest.

This came during the meeting held between them on the sidelines of the meeting of the 21st session of foreign ministers of African countries and their counterparts from northern European countries, held in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on various issues of common interest, especially the role of the African Union in supporting the political process in Libya leading to the holding of national elections.

The two sides discussed strengthening and developing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and resuming the Ugandan embassy's work from the capital, Tripoli.
